Part One | Motorcycle Guide to the Gaspé Peninsula

Dave and Norm are picking-up their BMW K-1600GTs at Moto Vanier in Quebec City.  They’re taking BMW’s K1600GT touring package east along the St. Lawrence River and onto the Gaspé Peninsula.  Over the years, Dave and Norm have covered large swaths of Canada on their Ultimate Rides but they’re taking this opportunity to have a closer look at one of the most unique regions of eastern Canada.

Gaspé offers exciting scenery along the coast and through the inland mountains.  There’s highways twisting around the rugged, rocky shore, and smooth, winding roads cutting across the narrow peninsula from the St. Lawrence River to the Gulf of the St. Lawrence.  The unique landscape and exciting roads make Gaspé a motorcycle mecca, but the area has a lot to offer cultural tourists as well as an early gateway to French settlement in eastern Canada.

But as Norm says, this one is all about the ride and he and Dave are ready to disembark on another one of a kind journey along some epic roads.
