This past season, given that it was the 150th anniversary of Canada’s Confederation, Norm Wells and Dave Hatch decided they should pay tribute to our great country by exploring some classic Canadian roads while celebrating some uniquely Canadian milestones. Day 1 in the trip was jam packed as they headed out in a north easterly direction from Toronto to small towns like Bobcaygeon and Bancroft. After a quick bite to eat in Bancroft, Norm and Dave headed east towards Pembroke in search of Canada’s sweet pastry treat… the beaver tail!
