During the afternoon of day two into this year’s adventure we left
Sugar’s restaurant in Overton and headed north on highway one sixty nine. Norm had it in his heart that we would find
an old mining road named Norman Wells. But
alas, the road was impassible given the street oriented rubber on our rented
GSs. Sadly, that glitch in our game plan
left us no choice but to drone for over an hour on what may be the straightest
road in Nevada.
